This is a site to start something greater for West Plains, Missouri Citizens. We aim to incorporate better direct integration between elected representatives and the citizens they represent. We’re dedicated to an open and transparent representation. As an “elected official” – we believe this status is realized as being “officially elected” as servants to the people who place their trust and confidence in their chosen representatives. Our “elected officials” have too often taken opportunities to exert individual interests over the collective interests of the representees. These positions are not paid, they’re not bought and they are not channels to exert power and authority. Therefore, open communication and dual integrated pathways for citizens and council-members is a first step in bridging the gap between the people’s election and the voice of the people. As your representative: council-members should be an echo of the needs and desires of the people. Not the execution of the interests of the candidate.
